  brother of the hawk, newly enlightened & gojira, recorded an elder's meeting on 5/7/03.

  both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

  thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

  Yes, We noticed also how fast the love went away. Not visits, no phone calls, we even gave the P.O. stamps to mail us our KMs and we didn't even get them. That realy got us to thinking alot. Elders are shephards only if you are in a certian mile radius. What is even more sad is that My brother inlaw was serving as a elder in that cong. and not even he would call his sister to check in on her. How truly sad.

  got a phone call today from a couple from our ex congregation.

  he was visited again by two elders(one in training) again.

  third shepherding call within two months.

  If you need some encouragement, please feel free to PM me. To try and offer encouragement from the scriptures on this forum is almost like beating your head against a brick wall.

  Believe me when I say It will get better, and My wife and I are going through a simiar thing right now. We are bound and determined to "Listen to the voice of the true shepherd, " not the imposters.

  Idle gossip is not idle gossip, just depends who it is coming from. My mother who has a very strong personality, is now gossiping about myself and family and yep Elders are "Checking it out". Gossip is and has always been the down fall of many a good people. Elders will never go after the one who gossips. The most I have ever seen is a local needs talk about gossiping. But the damage is done..

  I applaud the WTBT$.

  These talks were well orchestrated, a lot of time, effort and energy went into prepairing these talks.. A shining example of how well they can control the mind. I have to wonder who prompted them and which words would be the most effective to captivate the human mind. Now that I look back on my many years of "faithful service" I can see how easily it was for them to control my mind. It all sounds soooo good and true.

  That's right, one of these talks made it plain and clear, even quoted it from the Bible. "Dont think" then a pause, then quoted the scripture. When confronted with a disfellowed family member the first words that will come to mind is the one that is literally designed to shut the mind down. "Don't think" They are truly masters at mind control and manipulation.

  Can somebody explain the changes I read in the WT??

  my grandmother asked me to read to her so i asked her what she wanted me to read.

  was the watchtower, but she specfically asked for the one with "the timeline.

  it for a few days and apparently hasn't read up.

  we have held off on revealing our true names, my dad has held off joining jwn and telling his story because we have been waiting for one special event.

  To be honest, our long held beliefs are intact, they just have to be re-honed, without the WT BS. Which now makes us very dangerous. When the two elders visited us they were left with their mouths open, every objection they raised, we shut them down, especially when the [1942 WTBT$] Diaglott came out. That's what you call establishing dominance

  So, my husband would not even meet the elders who just happened to drop by this morning.

  he stayed inside and kept going about his business like they weren't even there.

  i engaged them on the verandah hut politely explained that they'd caught us at a bad time as we were doing a big cleanup of the house.

  the elders had even bought a pack of chocolate cookies around, so they were expecting to be invited in and offered coffee.

  Unfortunately Mr. Freeze, it was very traumatic at the time and I quit writing after this and trying to get anything published. But now, we see it for the absurdity and mind control that it was.
